Mission 1: Create two separate book covers (one featuring a chair and one a tree) in the style of two different artists - one in colour, one in black and white, and each with a different genre.

My selected genres were Western and Psychological Thriller. After much deliberation I went with William Nicholson and Charles Dana Gibson for my chosen artists, since I felt their work was applicable to both themes |

Mission 2: create an editorial piece for the article "'Hard truths told in a gentle way': how life story books help adopted children"
I approached this topic with a more metaphorical view than a literal one since it was quite a deep subject, and felt it would lend itself better to it. That being said, I did, of course, look at more literal examples as well. |
